Satisfies my inner canto-pop desire. LoL.
Love the way you Lie
Decent rendition of the song, a little let down by the lack of power in the girl’s voice though.
Words of Wisdom..
Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.

You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.

Love sought is good, but given unsought is better.
- William Shakespeare
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Japanese, French, or neither?
VS
Thinking of learning a new language when I get back. Think I should be able to handle 1 more language, and it’s a good opportunity since my uni has courses we can sign up for and the prices are reasonable. But which to learn is the question. Japanese is more commonly used in Asia, French is more commonly used in Europe. Less people can speak French in Singapore, so maybe more opportunities if you do? But then again we probably deal with more Japanese anyway, and the food is nicer to me!
I could go on for quite awhile but eventually I think it probably boils down to which culture I prefer, so it stays as a life-long skill and not a bad waste of time and money. Decisions decisions =\
The Biggest Parasite That Ever Played In Black And White!
Michael Owen claims Man Utd motivate him … but Newcastle didn’t! On £108,000 per week at St James’ Park, he struggled to find a reason to get his arse out of bed.
I would imagine he is the sort of ‘mammy’s boy’ who would turn up at school with prawn sarnies in his bate-box, carrying the Financial Times under his arm, and a box of Milk Tray for the teacher.
A plain and simple … TOSSER!
You just knew when he arrived at Newcastle he was never going to fit in. He commuted by helicopter, spent more time at race meetings than on the training pitch, and ‘went through the motions’ everytime he pulled on the black and white shirt.
And, including wages, add-ons and his transfer fee – he cost Newcastle Utd £54,000,000.
But, let’s not forget, he couldn’t get motivated.
Has there ever been a bigger parasite at our club?
In a word – NO!
Michael Owen: ‘I’m 30 now and understand I won’t play every game. I’ve had a lot of injuries and don’t have the pace I once had. But life evolves.
‘I’ve changed my style, I’m a different type of player now and, because of that, I reckon I’ve still got four or five years at the top.
‘And I much prefer that to be at United, where I train every day with some of the world’s top players. Where I work every day with arguably the best manager who’s ever lived.
‘Where I play in front of such great fans and in an amazing stadium such as Old Trafford.
‘And I’m really happy I now live back at home after having been away for five years.
‘I prefer all of those things ahead of playing every game for a team that’s only ever going to be 12th in the league.
‘Now that’s when I would struggle to find the motivation.
‘So I have to work hard every day to make sure I am always ready and available because I’m sure I will get my chance.’

Just took the plunge into audiophile goodness
After much research done online, auditioning @ jaben and deliberating before the inevitable result, I finally took the plunge and ordered Westone 2! They are my first dual-armature earphones, which means on each side of the earphone, there are actually 2 small speakers to handle different frequencies (high/low). A step up from my single-armature UM1s =D. Time for some pics..

They will be arriving in a couple of days hopefully, can’t wait for it!
